On 11th March 2011, Japan was rocked by the largest earthquake in its recorded history.

 

Four years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake.

What are your memories from that day?

 

We want to present to you the details of the 2011 Touhoku Earthquake, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster, the subsequent reconstruction effort, and the current situation in the directly affected areas.

 

Kakeru/Run is an Dublin-based exhibition project, the goal of which is to promote interest in the effects of the 2011 disaster, and the future of Touhoku and Japan.
